The game takes on the role of a first/third person action World War II simulator where you can drive tanks, trucks, bikes and motorcycles but you can also take to the skies flying planes air-striking people on the ground and spraying them with bullets or be really crazy and try to kamikaze kill people.
With the game only being in beta the gameplay on moving your gun and looking around isn't a quick response, not to say it's unplayable as you can still pick of a couple easy kills. Heroes and Generals is a war game where heroes are sent into the war effort by the generals who conduct and send resources around. It is being developed by independent studio Reto-Moto, which is founded by some of the original founders of IO Interactive and the Hitman series.The developers call it a "mass participation game" in contrast to a traditional massively multiplayer online games, where the actions in the FPS-part of the game reflects into the strategy-part, every battle counts for the global war effort."
